499 Illinois Building Update
Our 499 Illinois building, located at the UCSF Mission Bay campus, is in the process of becoming LEED(r) certified at the Silver level, using the Commercial Interiors rating system. The building also became LEED-CS certified in 2013 for its base building elements, like central heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC).
LEED: The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED), provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
